Cartoon Network
Launched in October 1994 in Asia, Cartoon Network offers the best in animated entertainment and is one of the most popular kids’ channels. Drawing from the world’s largest and best cartoon library consisting of more than 14,000 Warner Bros., MGM, Hanna-Barbera and Cartoon Network Original series and shorts, the channel is the best place for cartoons, offering more than 2,000 cartoons and characters – more than anyone else – with seven local and one regional feed to more than 56 million households across 23 countries and territories in Asia.
Turner Classic Movies
Turner Classic Movies (TCM) launched in the Asia-Pacific region in 2000. TCM expanded the following year to a 24-hour service with no commercial interruptions and now reaches over four million viewers in more than 10 territories across the region. The channel is also available to DTH satellite homes in the Philippines and India. TCM presents classic movie entertainment in a contemporary style that reinterprets the movies’ places in history and their relevance today. Exclusive in-depth celebrity interviews, monthly star tributes, themed showcases and original productions make the network the #1 brand across the world in Hollywood classic movies.
Boomerang
Drawing from the world’s largest cartoon library, Boomerang presents the greatest cartoons of all time! Gathering the toons you know and love from the celebrated animation team of Hanna-Barbera, Warner Bros and MGM studios, this 24-hour channel is stuffed full of the greatest cartoons ever made... It’s the pie in the face, anvil on the head, yabba dabba doo-ist channel out there!
POGO
A first for TBS across the globe, POGO is also India’s first “made for India” channel as it is available only in India. POGO launched in January 2004 as a high-quality viewing destination that kids’ could enjoy with their families and a channel that gives kids a feeling of “It’s My TV”. Within months, POGO rose to its current position of the number two kids’ television channel of the country. Second only to its sister channel Cartoon Network, POGO offers a unique mix of general entertainment for Indian kids and their families and features content from acclaimed production houses and animation studios from India’s bouquet and internationally such as Miditech, BBC and HIT Entertainment.
