North Asia lights up ITV Studios’ week

North Asia lit up ITV Studios’ week, with an extension of the output deal with Korea’s KT Corp and a raft of sales in Korea and Japan.

As this year’s ATF market draws to a close, ITV Studios Global Entertainment said the KT Corp deal involved 180 hours of exclusive scripted and non-scripted content, including Mammoth Screen dramas “Vanity Fair”, “Victoria” and “Endeavour”, as well as factual titles such as “Life Cycles” from Big Media and “How To Get Rich Quick” from Little Gem.

Also in Korea, Channel A has acquired the coming-soon “The War of The Worlds” and ”Vanity Fair” along with factual titles “Taste of Marley” and “Schofield's South African Adventure”.

In Japan, Wowow Plus and Tohokushinsha acquired new and returning shows, including “Dark Heart” and “Thunderbirds Are Go”.
