Here’s what made our radar:

Wildlife/factual indie, Earth Touch, is co-producing 50-minute documentary, “China’s Monkey Kingdom”, with China’s CCTV, Smithsonian Channel, Austria’s ORF and Beijing-based Mandarin Film.

9 Story sold Magic Mall Entertainment’s animated series “Luo Bao Bei” (52 x 11’) to True Visions in Thailand, following its March launch on CCTV in China.

South Korea-based Berry Entertainment & Media has acquired cooking tricks/tips “Spencer’s Big 30” (26 x 30’), traveling cooking series “Fresh Market Dinners” (10 x 30’), BBQ programme “Watts on the Grill” (13 x 30’) and cooking series “Fish the Dish” (30 x 30’) from Gusto Worldwide Media.

Australia’s ABC Commercial has sold factual entertainment series “The Street Vet” (12x30’) to Canada’s Blue Ant Media for the Cottage Life specialty cable channel in an exclusive deal that gives the network pay-TV, VOD and catch-up rights for four years.

U.K. indie DCD Rights’ conspiracy factual series “Secret Nazi Bases” (6 x 60’ / HD) has been picked up by Australian public broadcaster, SBS Australia.

Foxtel (Australia) and Nat Geo People (Southeast Asia) has bought “Log Cabin Fever II” from Australia-based distributor, Looking Glass International.

The Mediapro Studio’s Imagina International has sold “In the Heart of the Ocean” to Korea’s BGMC.
