Overall objectives
- Expand, support and promote the DW brand and content across Southeast Asia
- Distribute selected paid content on commission under the “Transtel” brand name
- Prioritize partnerships on mobile, web and social platforms
- Set up workflows for outsourced subtitling in Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese and Indonesian
- Secure new TV, OTT and re-broadcasting partners
- Deliver monthly performance and viewership reports from all partners
- Plan, execute and report on marketing campaigns with local partners
- Identify broadcasters for “live crosses” in Priority A regions
- Secure broadcasters or VOD partners for major DW video releases
- Upload DW series and key content to Asian UGC/short-video platforms
- Regularly check partner platforms for correct DW branding and compliance with DW’s Declaration of Values
Target regions
Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei and Mongolia.

Required skills and qualifications
- Excellent English communication skills – correspondence with DW Headquarters will be in English
- Strong understanding of current media trends
- Solid network across TV, digital, OTT and social media sectors
- Preferably, connections within political or regulatory environments in Southeast Asia
- Experience in content distribution, marketing and media partnerships
- Familiarity with international media brands and localization
- Fluency in key regional languages
Remuneration
- Fixed monthly fee plus performance-based bonuses
- Bonus criteria and amounts will be defined transparently in the contract
