Taiwan's TCCF this evening unveiled 10 Japanese drama series picked for its co-production outreach that will be part of the November event in Taipei.
Announcing the projects, event organisers TAICCA said as streaming accelerated cross-border distribution, “more Japanese projects are bringing in international partners at the development stage”.
The 10 series include comedy horror title “Kyoto Yokai House”; action-adventure history series, “The Samurai Band”; and romantic drama/social issues “Alpha Girl”. LGBTQIA+ is represented by “I’m Living in Retirement in Taiwan”, about a young Japanese man and former caregiver who leaves for Taiwan in search of a quieter, slower life.
The Pitch, which takes place on Sunday, 8 November, is presented by Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC).
