Sonic Gods Studios’ business competition format – “60 Day Hustle” – is heading to Asia for the first time in a co-production deal with Fremantle’s Singapore-based regional label, Beach House Pictures.
The hybrid business-entertainment show has run for two seasons on Prime Video in the U.S. The Asia expansion is part of a broader international rollout.
Entrepreneur Kelly Mi Li, best known as a creator and star of Netflix’s “Bling Empire”, will host the Singapore-set international version, which will spotlight talent in Asia.
The platform for the international adaptation has not been announced, and the release timeline is to be confirmed.
Created by Michelle Delamor and Chris Hayman and produced by Adam Horner from Sonic Gods Studios, “60 Day Hustle” follows a group of early-stage entrepreneurs competing in an accelerator designed to test their ability to build, market and scale a business in just 60 days.
The Singaporean production will be led by Jocelyn Little and Donovan Chan, managing director and creative director of Beach House Pictures, which is best known for originals such as “Missing: The Lucie Blackman Case”, “Evolve” and “MasterChef Singapore”.
Michelle Delamor, Chris Hayman and Adam Horner from the L.A.-based Sonic Gods Studios are executive producers, along with Kelly Mi Li.
