Media Partners Asia’s (MPA) opens the 16th edition of its APOS event in Bali later this month as the regional screen entertainment industry navigates a “volatile macro landscape, demanding new monetisation models and scale,” says MPA executive director, Vivek Couto.
The event (24-26 June) looks at a broad range of topics that impact the creative economy’s growth in Asia, from AI’s transformative impact across the value chain to sports streaming and CTV’s role in shaping total TV, with case studies from some of the top platforms in the region.
Couto said in the run up to the opening that he would be looking at how platforms were maximising consumer spending on entertainment, how advertising was evolving in key markets, and what the opportunities were for the video industry and its stakeholders.
“Amid economic shifts and volatile markets, APOS 2025 also focuses on how investors are pushing companies to reinvent the media playbook,” he said.
