Mongolia’s Central TV to adapt ITV Studios’ “The Wishing Tree” and “The Job Interview”

Mongolia’s Central TV is adapting two ITV Studios’ formats – “The Wishing Tree” and “The Job Interview” – for its Spring 2025 schedule. Both will be made for the first time in Mongolia.

The announcement was made this morning ahead of the opening of day two of this year’s ATF market.

Mongolia is the 14th market to adapt “The Wishing Tree”, in which “the big wishes of small children come true, with a heartfelt twist”; and the eighth territory to adapt “The Job Interview”.

ITV Studios describes “The Wishing Tree” as “a celebration of kindness and community”.

As its name suggests, “The Job Interview” takes viewers behind the scenes of job interviews.

The deal was brokered by Ayesha Surty, ITV Studios’ head of brand partnerships Asia.

Netflix unveils “The Roshans”; docu-series promises the untold story of iconic Indian film family

Netflix announced new docu-series, “The Roshans”, today, promising the untold story of the iconic Indian film family.

Shashi Ranjan directed and co-produced the docu-series, which covers contributions to Hindi cinema across three generations, with family member, Rakesh Roshan.

At the heart of the story is revered patriarch, Roshan Lal Nagrath (AKA Roshan Saab), who laid the foundation of this artistic dynasty.

“His indelible mark on the industry resonates through his own work and blossoms in the achievements of his descendants — Rakesh Roshan, Rajesh Roshan and Hrithik Roshan — who have each uniquely shaped the landscape of Indian entertainment as directors, creators, musicians and actors,” Netflix said in today’s announcement.
