Ace producers Bill Kong and Ivy Ho have assembled one of the most impressive cast of Hong Kong stars for “Cold War 1994”, the first of two prequel films to Edko Films’ 2012 hit “Cold War”.

The new crime action film stars Daniel Wu, Terrance Lau, Wu Kang Ren, Tse Kwan Ho, Louise Wong, Fish Liew, special appearances by Chow Yun Fat, Aaron Kwok and, Louis Koo and a further guest appearance by Tony Leung Ka Fai.

“Game of Thrones” star Aidan Gillen and “Downton Abbey” lead Hugh Bonneville represent a substantial overseas thespian component.

Gillen portrays the head of the head of the UK’s MI6 spy service, while Bonneville plays a British cabinet minister.
