Cyberagent confirms anime adaptation, “The World is Dancing” set for Summer 2026 release
26 January 2026

A TV anime adaptation of Kazuto Mihara’s manga, "The World Is Dancing", releases across broadcast and streaming platforms in Summer 2026.

The series, which explores the art of Noh, was originally serialised in Kodansha’s Morning. Animated by CygamesPictures, the project is co-produced by CyberAgent and Shochiku.

The TV series is directed by Toshimasa Kuroyanagi (Shounen Hollywood). "The World Is Dancing" is about a boy who continues to challenge himself creatively during an era when Noh – now considered a classical performing art – was the cutting‑edge entertainment of its time. Although not exceptionally talented, he throws himself into the art, driven by the hope he might be able to change the world.

The animation production is by CygamesPictures.
