Intelsat’s South Asia sales head, Gaurav Kharod, is taking over from veteran satellite head Terry Bleakley as regional VP for Asia Pacific from 1 April.

Bleakley stays with the company in a part-time senior advisory role, the U.S.-based satellite operator said at the same time as it highlighted its “ambitious growth trajectory in the APAC market”.

Kharod was most recently the global satellite company’s managing sales director of South Asia and India, and has held roles at Hughes India and Viasat.
