25 January 2023

India’s Prasar Bharati and Egypt’s National Media Authority (NMA) have agreed to exchange TV & radio programming as part of a broad agreement that also includes co-production.

An MoU has been signed between Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, India’s Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, and Sameh Hassan Shoukry, Egypt’s Foreign Minister. The presidents of both countries witnessed the signing.

The MOU is part of Prasar Bharati’s efforts to expand the reach of the government-backed DD India channel.
