“With ‘Four Seasons of Pertiwi’, Forka Films is entering a new phase, one defined by scale, collaboration, and a cinematic vision that is rooted in Indonesia, built with the world, and made for global screens,” said producer Ifa Isfansyah.

In a country where production houses are largely obliged to also turn their hand to theatrical distribution, Isfansyah has put in place commercial multiple sponsorships. Oriflame is set as a brand sponsor, while Jaris & K is committed as out-of-home media partner. “These strengthen the film’s public-facing momentum and position it for broad audience penetration” Isfansyah added.

Forka (previously known as Fourcolours Films) has been responsible for Indonesian films which have played prominently on the international festival circuit. These include: Garin Nugroho’s 2018 title “Memories of my Body”; Wicaksono Wisnu Legowo’s 2018 film “Turah”; and Andini-directed trio “The Seen and Unseen” from 2017, “Yuni” which debuted in Venice in 2018 and Berlin competition title "Before, Now & Then" from 2022. The company also produced the Isfansyah and Andini-directed “Cigarette Girl” (2024) for Netflix.
