NBCUni’s hayu goes live in India; D2C platform to charge US$13 for one-year subscription
02 December 2021

NBCUniversal’s dedicated reality SVOD streaming service, hayu, launches in India today, giving the global platform its fourth market in Asia after Singapore, Philippines and Hong Kong.

The English-language direct-to-consumer service costs INR349/US$4.65 prepaid for three months or one year prepaid at INR999/US$13.32.

The service promises 8,000 episodes of reality content, including all seasons of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians”, “The Real Housewives” and “Family Karma”. The majority of shows are available on hayu on the same day as their release in the U.S.
