New Zealand’s TVNZ has greenlit a local version of ITV Studios’ quiz format "The Chase" for the first time, giving the U.K. format its 22nd territory, ITV Studios said this morning in Cannes as MIPCOM opened. 

The series will be produced by ITV Studios Australia and is scheduled to premiere on 3 November on TVNZ 1 and TVNZ+.

"The Chase" originated in the U.K. and is created and produced by Potato, part of ITV Studios.

The new version was part of a slate of ITV Studios’ formats heading around the world, including "A Party to Die For" in Spain.
