Rewind Networks' regional Hits entertainment channel launches on LGU+ IPTV platform in Korea on Tuesday (16 November).
The new carriage deal, part of the Singapore-based regional channels operator's alliance with LYD in Seoul, brings total reach in Asia to 24 million homes across 15 countries.
Hits will be carried in HD as part of LGU+ TV’s premium package.
The channel adds iconic titles such as "Little House on the Prairie", "Murder, She Wrote", "Law & Order: SVU" and "I Dream of Jeannie" to the platform.
November premieres include British sitcom "Are you Being Served?", American supernatural drama "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer" and one of the most watched mini-series of all time, "The Winds of War".
The Korea deal caps a busy year for founder Avi Himatsinghani’s Rewind, which has signed at least seven new agreements for two channels - Hits and Hits Movies - in the past few months.
New carriage deals include IndiHome and Transvision in Indonesia, Macau Cable, Singtel Singapore, Unifi TV Malaysia, Hong Kong Cable and Medianet Maldives.
