Singapore’s Mediacorp releases its latest microdrama – “Be The Light” – on Thursday, adding five episodes a day to the Mediacorp Microdrama TikTok Channel followed by the full 20-episode drop on online platform mewatch and the Mediacorp Drama YouTube channel on 2 November.

Local A-listers like Desmond Tan and Tasha Low star in the new series about an explosion that destroys a neighbourhood coffee shop.
As the community struggles to recover, a dark truth emerges about someone who may be planning a second attack after being radicalised online.

The executive producer is Png Keh Hock and the story is by Teo Jing Yu, Lau Ching Poon and Cho Simin.

The microdrama is produced in collaboration with Singapore’s Ministry of Home Affairs.
