Beta Film has sold Korean crime series “Snow White Must Die” to RAI in Italy and ERT in Greece, as well as to MBC Shahid, which also acquired “Skam Korea – Fragile” for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

The 16-episode “Snow White Must Die” is based on a novel by Nele Neuhaus and follows a man who served 10 years in prison for a murder he does not remember committing. After his release, he sets out to clear his name.

The cast includes Byun Yo Han (“Six Flying Dragons”), Ko Jun (“The Fiery Priest”), Go Bo-gyeol (“Hi Bye, Mama!”) and Kim Bo-ra (“Touch”). Seo Joo-yeon (“Save Me 2”) wrote the series and Byun Young Joo (“Queen Mantis”, “Helpless”) directs. Hidden Sequence produces it for MBC.

The eight-episode half-hour “Skam Korea – Fragile”, adapted from “Skam”, follows Ji Yu as she deals with academic pressure, identity and friendship, and with her relationship with her boyfriend, Chan Seong.  Ji-hoon Ahn directs. The cast includes So-hee Kim, Eo-jin Kim, Joo-han Gong, Hee-song Kwon and Ji-won Moon.
