Kikuya Kikuko’s U-Next comic, "Wednesday, Please Embrace My Husband", is being made into a live-action drama, the Japanese platform said on Monday (26 January). Show details have not yet been disclosed. 

The title follows the live-action adaptation of comic, "The Igarashi Couple Are Disguised Strangers", as well as the remake of original novel, "Danchi no Futari" for NHK BS; the drama stars Kyoko Koizumi and Satomi Kobayashi. 

U-Next’s comic label, launched in November 2022, has become a pillar of U-Next’s IP development goals.  About 100 titles have been released so far. 

"Please Embrace My Husband" is about an unwitting mistress who is asked by her boyfriend’s wife to keep the affair going.
