Digital media company, Vice Media, is preparing a bankruptcy filing in the U.S., according to a report in The New York Times.

Citing three unnamed sources close to the proceedings, the 1 May report said the 19-year-old company was still looking for a buyer, failing which the filing could come in the next two to three weeks.
