Netflix dominates digital demand in China with three chart-topping positions, according to Parrot Analytics’ data for the week of 13-19 April.
The platform captured three of the top 10 digital slots with “Bloodhounds” (#2), “Can This Love Be Translated?” (#3), and “Dorohedoro” (#5).
With demand indices ranging from 17.5x to 21.1x above market average, Netflix originals outpace much of the competition. At the same time, the rankings reveal a fragmented landscape: Prime Video leads with “The Boys”, while mainland Chinese platforms Bilibili, Youku and iQiyi secure positions.
Netflix's multi-title success suggests sophisticated content curation and global licensing power, despite its ongoing inability to access the mainland Chinese market directly.
