ABS-CBN files US$40m suit in the U.S. against 40 pirate domains

One-time Philippines’ broadcast giant, ABS-CBN, has filed a US$40-million lawsuit in the U.S. against 40 pirate domains. 

The Federal Court suit, ABS-CBN v. 123Fullpinoymovieshub.com, follows a preliminary injunction against the 40 demanding they take down the domains.

ABS-CBN said today that piracy had made a comeback during the Covid-19 pandemic.
