Philippines’ programmer ABS-CBN has flagged a microdrama slate for streaming platform iWant as part of its 2026 programming lineup showcased at the weekend. Details of the microdrama lineup were not announced.
The overall slate of new and returning shows in 2026 is a mix of romance, action, drama, and reality competitions, along with the return of ABS-CBN’s former president and award-winning host and actress Charo Santos-Concio as host of iconic drama anthology, “Maalaala Mo Kaya” (MMK).
The series lineup includes stars such as Kathryn Bernardo, James Reid, Maja Salvador, who star in new romance-mystery series, “Someone, Someday”; and Joshua Garcia and Ivana Alawi in the romance-drama “Love is Never Gone”, which is the first Filipino TV series shot in Morocco. A fourth series stars Richard Gutierrez and Gerald Anderson.
Luis Manzano is back as host of two returning game shows – “Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal” and competition “Minute To Win It”.
The 2026 schedule also includes well-known properties “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo”, “Roja” and “What Lies Beneath”, along with “It’s Showtime”, “Rainbow Rumble” and “Your Face Sounds Familiar".
As the once-mighty network continues to forge a future minus its broadcast franchise, ABS-CBN shows air on ALLTV 2 and cable, ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube Channel, and global streaming platform iWant, along with select windows on Netflix and Prime Video Philippines. “It’s Showtime” and “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab 2.0” are available on GMA.
