Chinese news platform CGTN is pushing its new AI-powered news companion, News Pal.

The government-backed platform says the service “aggregates and summarises coverage about China and the world with speed and clarity… giving readers a clearer, more focused view of current events”.

News is sourced from a range of platforms – including CCTV, Global Times, China.org and Xinhua – with links to original stories.
