Regional channels operator, Rewind Networks, has announced its sixth carriage deal in less than a month as the calendar runs out on the Disney-owned Fox channels, which exit from midnight this Thursday (30 Sept).
The run of new carriage agreements is the Singapore-based network’s biggest growth spurt since its launch in 2013, and is the first time the new channels have accessed Transvision.
Rewind’s two channels – Hits and Hits Movies – launch on Indonesia’s DTH, IPTV and OTT platforms, including Transvision Satellite, Transvision XStream, Transvision Xstream Seru! and Transvision XGo services, from 1 October.
Both channels will be available in High Definition with Bahasa Indonesia subtitles.
The new deals grow Rewind’s footprint to more than 22 million homes across 15 countries in Asia.
Transvision offers more than 120 live TV channels, including 50 in HD.
1 October is Hits Movies’ three-year anniversary. The original Hits channel launched in December 2013, the same year as Transvision launched.
