Banijay Rights is adding finished programmes of Japanese format “Ninja Warrior” in an expansion of its format partnership with Japanese broadcaster Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS).

The deal builds on the format licensing agreement signed between TBS and Banijay Entertainment in October 2025. 

“Sasuke” – the original Japanese show upon which “Ninja Warrior” is based – celebrates its 30th anniversary next year.
