Australia’s Seven Network has greenlit a six-part local version of format, “Stacks of Cash” in a deal with Fremantle announced just ahead of MIPCOM.

Created and produced by Eureka Studios (“Wonka: The Golden Ticket”) “Stacks of Cash” supersizes stacking games, built into a prime-time spectacle with instant family play-along.

A 10-episode version of the show, hosted by Emmy Award-nominated actor Mike O’Malley, has also been commissioned by U.S. broadcaster CBS.

Host details of the Australian version have not been confirmed and the broadcast date has not been announced.

The format debuted in Europe this summer.
