Korea’s Broadcasting and Communications Commission has earmarked a total of KRW 72.767 billion for broadcast media sector R&D over the next five years through 2030. Eight new projects will participate in the “Digital Media Innovation Technology Development Project (Innovation R&D)”.  

This year’s priority has been to integrate and re-organise 14 “previously fragmented” innovation projects, the commission said.
