Broadcasters in Japan, Thailand, Taiwan and Korea have picked up rights to Picolo Pictures’ pre-school property, “Shooom’s Odyssey”, from French animation production and distribution company, Dandelooo.

The 26-minute film will air on NHK in Japan, TrueVisions in Thailand, MomoKids TV in Taiwan and South Korea’s free-TV educational network, EBS, Dandeloo said today as the Mipcom market opened as a hybrid event in Cannes and online.

“Shooom’s Odyssey” is about a baby owl’s search for a mother for her and an unhatched egg after they fall from their nest in a storm.
