Taiwan’s Screenworks, Singapore’s Mediacorp enter co-pro talks; potential drama anthology in discussion
02 December 2020

A new Taiwan-Singapore drama co-pro is potentially in the works in an alliance between Taiwan’s new production house, Screenworks Asia, and Singapore media platform Mediacorp.

An MoU for the Chinese-language anthology – the first project between the two producers – was announced this afternoon as day two of this year’s ATF online market closed. If it happens, the series could be released in Q4 2021.

Details of the shared resources that might be involved were not disclosed.

The companies said only that they would be “bringing together” talent, production capabilities and capital investments in a ”joint effort to engage a wider base of audiences in the region and beyond through new, exciting content”.
