Hong Kong’s i-Cable cuts 8% of total workforce in company wide realignment
02 December 2020

Hong Kong platform i-Cable is laying off about 8% of its workforce as a result of “daunting challenges” created by Covid-19.

The reorg announced this week involves realigning or eliminating 100 positions across various departments of the total 1,300 employees.

The restructure comes after what the company this week called a “comprehensive review”.

At the same time as exploring new business opportunities, i-Cable says an organisational restructure is also unavoidable.
