The third season of Theodore Boborol’s “Sparks Camp” returns next week (16 July) to ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel (53.1 million subscribers), with new episodes on Wednesdays.
Showcased today in a live YouTube session, the upsized new season by Black Sheep for ABS-CBN Studios includes the first extended director’s cut, which will be available for Super Kapamilya members on YouTube and via ABS-CBN’s global subscription streaming service iWant.
The ABS-CBN Studios’ original by Black Sheep is the Philippines’ first queer dating reality show and is promising “three times more romance” for the new season.
Season three also has a new theme song, “Nahuhulog” by “The Voice Teens PH” season one finalist, Chie.
LGBTQIA+ advocate Mela Habijan is back as host to help the new batch of 10 campers “find their mutual spark”.
“Sparks Camp” was a nominee for Best Original Reality and/or Competition Programme at the 2024 ContentAsia Awards and accumulated over seven million digital views on YouTube for the first two seasons.
The number of episodes in season three has not been confirmed.
