“Jujutsu Kaisen” Tops Malaysia Demand; Anime Dominates Parrot Analytics’ Cross-platform Rankings
18 May 2026

Jujutsu Kaisen

Parrot Analytics' latest cross-platform demand data for the week of 27 April to 3 May in Malaysia put anime as the top genre demanded by domestic audiences.

The top spot goes to “Jujutsu Kaisen” with 33x the market average demand. Behind it: “My Hero Academia” (24.3x) and “Kamen Rider Zeztz” (23.6x).

Premium Western drama takes the next tier. “The Boys” claims the second-highest position overall (29.6x demand) and tops the Digital Originals chart.

"Invincible" (Amazon's animated superhero series) ranks third overall at 27.6x. Netflix claims four titles in the top 10 overall (“Stranger Things”, “Didi & Friends”, “Squid Game”, “Bloodhounds”), but none reaches the demand levels of “Jujutsu Kaisen” or “The Boys”.
