Philippines’ President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has appointed filmmaker and People’s Television Network (PTV-4) general manager Lino Cayetano to replace Dave Gomez as head of the Presidential Communications Office (PCO).

Marcos announced the appointment in an interview during his trip to Singapore on Sunday, but did not confirm effective dates. 

Cayetano took over public broadcast network PTV-4 in June 2026, exiting Rein Entertainment, the production house he founded in 2017 with Shugo Praico and Philip King.
